Second Maternity Session--HHCC on this one
Its been a while since I posted here but here you go, I just finished proofing my 2nd maternity session. I read in the MPIX forum that when you show your client their photos it should be proofed well already because you can't tell them that you will fix onlythe pictures that they will buy or just imagine the other pictures when everything is proof and finalized. Some people just don't have that imagination. So yes, I proofed 48 pictures to show them. Professional photographers I know only show 20 to 30 so that the client won't be confused. I learned a lot from this session including using brush to enhance the color of the tattoo. I was proud of myself.Exposure information---ISO 800, F5.6, SS 125. It was gloomy here in Illinois, I was struggling with light. HHCC on this one, please. Thank you for looking~

i love that one in the rocker! such a sweet capture of a mother waiting for the baby to rock! very nice photos!
I think you did very well with these. Since you asked for hhcc.....
#1 Try not to chop off body parts. In this case, her knees. Also, there is something about this pose that makes me think she is in labor.
#2 LOVE IT!!! I'm sure she'll purchase this one. It's a real gem.
#3 Very good, but the blown highlights near her mouth bother me. They probably won't bother her.
#4 I'm not wild about the pose. You can't really see the bump. The curtains in the background are distracting. I wish the valance went all the way across the frame and gave a straight horizontal line. It would probably be an easy fix in PP.
Again, you did very well over all. I think they will be very pleased. Congratulations.

Love the shots in the rocking chair. All are very nice, I think your client is going to be very happy with these.
The 2nd, third and last one are my faves. I love the first one, but I wish you could see all of her legs. I'm a big fan of backlit shots. Nice job. I bet she'll love 'em!
These are fab. I love backlit shots. It seems to be hit and miss with with me. If I was the prego I would think they were awesome.

These are great! I love the lighting. My favorite is of the one of the mom reading the book and of her standing holding her belly. TFS

I love them all. I the 2nd on I think it would be neat with her hand on her belly while reading. They are great.
